Het kleine ambachtelijke bedrijfje Bonsai State maakt en verkoopt niet zomaar producten, het verkoopt een filosofie, een State of Mind:

“All the materials used in the manufacturing of our products are reclaimed from our surroundings. The wood we gather often comes out of old houses or wood-mills which discard unusable pieces. Instead of lacquer we use locally produced bee’s wax mixed with linseed oil for a beautiful finish and a reduction of our footprint. All production is done in a local social workshop. A place where the workless and disabled get a chance to learn new crafts and generate an income. “
